The Apprentices
The apprentices that seek Eustace's help dislike him very much in the end. Most come to him idealizing him wanting to be just like him. It is almost as if they think it's a game. They think that Turtle Island is place where lost souls can go to seek enlightenment by living of the land and nature. The problem with that is that's not what the camp is about. The purpose of the camp is to accomplish perfection in everything you do, which is why about 90% of the campers that join will leave. This is why many of the apprentices resent Eustace. Because he expects so much of his apprentices they begin to think he is not always right and that there are other ways to do the things he expects of them. They hate the idea of submitting themselves to somewhere so controlling. I to would not want to work for him or with him. Everyone who has had to work with Eustace has ended up hating because of his high expxectations of everyone. Even one of his friends said that he would not want to work with him to long because he knows that he would end up not wanting to be around Eustace.
